Established in 1857, Ashton-under-Lyne Cricket & Bowling Club is proud to be one of the region’s most historic and community-focused sports clubs.We currently compete in the Greater Manchester Cricket League (GMCL), fielding:Four senior men’s teams

 

Junior teams at U9, U11 levels.

 

In 2024, our 1st XI had a remarkable season, achieving a historic treble:🏆 GMCL Division 3 Champions🏆 John Barrow Trophy Winners🏆 GMCL T20 Plate Winner's.

 

Previously, we played in the Central Lancashire League (1928–2016) and the Pennine League (2016–2017), continuing a proud tradition of competitive cricket.

 

We also have a thriving bowling community, with 10 crown green bowling teams competing across various local leagues.
